This combination itinerary is just to give you an idea how we can package countries together to make a fantastic package covering the highlights of Southern Africa - we can use any accommodation and make it as many nights as you would like plus obviously we would also recommend adding on Okavango Delta in Botswana.
The tour can be done in either direction and could also include Kruger National Park.
Day 1 Victoria Falls
After your arrival in Victoria Falls, situated directly along the world-renowned Victoria Falls, check into your hotel. Depending on time availability, you have a wide variety of optional activities at your disposal, some of which include a half-day canoeing experience, a late afternoon sunset cruise on the Zambezi River or a short helicopter flight over the Victoria Falls.

Day 2 Victoria Falls
This morning discover why the Victoria Falls is one of the seven natural wonders on Earth as you explore it on a guided excursion on foot. It offers various vantage points from where you can view this natural phenomenon while walking through the lush rain forest inhabited by a rich variety of birds and some animal species such as bushbuck and monkeys. Afterwards, visit a craft market in Victoria Falls, where you can purchase or look at handmade crafts of the local inhabitants.

Day 3 Chobe National Park
After breakfast you get transferred to Botswana and the Chobe National Park, whose riverine forests and floodplains support a multitude of game species, which in turn attract predators such as lion, leopard and hyena. Enjoy the rest of the day relaxing along the swimming pool or take part in optional activities offered by your lodge, situated directly along the banks of the majestic Chobe River.

Day 4 Chobe National Park
Shortly before sunrise travel by open vehicle into the Chobe National Park, where wildlife roams freely in profusion and diversity. It is home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa and during the dry season the herds congregate along the fertile flood plains of the Chobe River. Some of the other game species found within the park and along the banks of the river consist of large herds of buffalo, puku, lechwe, bushbuck and kudu. Other major species such as lion, leopard wild dog, sable and roan antelope are encountered in many areas of the reserve. Enjoy breakfast at your lodge after the game drive; in the afternoon embark on a guided Chobe sunset cruise along the National Park.

Day 5 Windhoek
After breakfast you are collected at your hotel and taken to Victoria Falls Airport for your outward flight to Namibia’s capital city, Windhoek. Your hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the city and offers excellent dining facilities as well as outstanding variety of wines. Alternatively you have the option of enjoying dinner in one of Windhoek’s fabulous restaurants.

Day 6 Sesriem / Sossusvlei
Departing Windhoek / Swakopmund, travel into the Namib Desert with its monumental dunes and ever-changing colours. This is the oldest desert on Earth. It supports a vast diversity of adapted fauna and flora that accentuate this pristine environment even further. Experience the petrified dune landscape on a guided nature drive, followed by a sundowner on one of the awe inspiring dunes. This activity may be moved to the afternoon of the next day if time runs short (only applies to Bronze Tour)

Day 7 Sesriem / Sossusvlei
The best time to experience the Sossusvlei area is at sunrise when the new light paints the dunes and desert plains into a variety of deep reds, apricot and purple – a photographer’s dream! We travel into the heart of the Namib Desert with the highest sand dunes on Earth at Sossusvlei. Experience the majestic yet tranquil Sossusvlei or the surreal Dead Vlei on foot. We enjoy a picnic brunch under age-old camelthorn trees, before traveling back to our lodge via the gaping Sesriem Canyon.

Day 8 Swakopmund
Today we travel via the Namib Naukluft Park to Swakopmund, an idyllic coastal town situated between in Namib Desert on the Atlantic Coastline. The Ghaub and Kuiseb canyons are geological phenomena’s, formed when deep lakes covered the entire area millions of years ago. In Swakopmund we have the option of participating in some of the adventurous activities on offer such as scenic flights and dolphin cruises.

Day 9 Swakopmund
We have the day at leisure and can enjoy the coastal town in a variety of ways. Stroll through the historic city with its old colonial buildings, take part in optional adventure activities or simply laze along one of the longest beaches the western coast of Africa has to offer.

Day 10 Cape town
This morning you are transferred to Walvis Bay for your flight to Cape Town. After your arrival at the Cape Town International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Today is dedicated to getting to know Cape Town on a city tour on a hop-on hop-off open double decker bus. The ideal place to start this tour is at the Two Oceans Aquarium in the centre of the V&A Waterfront.

Day 11 Cape town – Cape point tour
After breakfast, you will be collected at your hotel and depart on a full day Cape Point tour. The highlights of the tour include the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the hillcrest at Cape Point (funicular as optional extra). Continuing the tour, you visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach and travel over Chapman’s Peak (subject to road being open) to Hout Bay, where you visit the harbour. Finally you visit Sea Point, after which a scenic drive through Cape Town takes you back to your hotel.

Day 12 Cape town – Winelands tour
After breakfast, you will be collected at your hotel and depart on your full day winelands Tour. Estates visited will vary, but the tour generally includes the region’s major wine producing areas, reached via scenic and historic roads. There are chances aplenty en route for the tasting of high quality red and white wines as well as Cap Classiques (South African “Champagnes”) in areas including Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek. Lunch is enjoyed at one of the wine estates (own account). You will be returned to your hotel in the late afternoon, where the remainder of your evening is at leisure.

Day 13 End of tour
After a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred to the Cape Town International Airport, for your flight to your next destination (or extend tour in Cape Town/South Africa).
